I had the pleasure this week to speak at the Tristate Conference of the Louisiana, Mississippi, and Arkansas Main Street programs in Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. We had a great time, spoke to a group of about 85 Main Street Managers about Community Branding, wrapped up the Gulf Coast revitalization that we have been working on for the past 8 months, and had time to visit with old friends.
I am so proud of the work that our team has done over the past 8 months, and am sad to not be able to monitor this dynamic region's progress, but am looking forward to their bright future.
We wrapped up the conference with a street party in downtown Bay St. Louis, and this image kind of captures it all!

Rutland Vermont is a great place, fantastic downtown, great people. But in every place I go, there are some great photo opts.
Here are a couple of my favorites:

I am working in Vermont this week, and I arrived in Burlington at lunch today. I had a couple of hours to run around so I decided to stop by one of my favorite craft breweries, Magic Hat.I looked around to see if there were any hats or shirts that I couldn't live without, but I simply didn't see anything for me. BUT, I did find a certain awesome beer shirt for my lovely little lady!

Well, I spent the first part of this week working in Carthage Mississippi. Carthage has some of the greatest people in the south. they are a great little community. We had fantastic turnout for both our public meetings, as we helped them design their future of their community. They had some great stories, I got to see how pork rinds are made, and for those of you who are Dixons/Central Snacks fans, that was the place!

We stayed over in Philadelphia,MS, home of the Neshoba County Fair. This place was amazing, and I can only imagine the wild time to be had come each July!
